The message from Dave Goggin below is perhaps the most esoteric reason I've heard to vote NO on Proposition L, but there are certainly plenty of reasons to do so. Whatever your personal rationale for opposing this misguided legislation, you can join opponents of the criminalization of sitting or lying on sidewalks in SF this Saturday morning at 938 Valencia Street (at 20th Street) to do precinct walking and literature distribution, starting at 10am.
I'm sure if you head over there after attending the Yes On B event at 910 Harrison Street at 930am (details in my other recent post), the No on L folks will still be at it. You could even do a little cross-pollination by bringing them some Yes on B literature!
In any case, Prop. L is in my opinion the most important thing on the local ballot with the exception of the pension reform measure -- a kind of referendum on whether San Francisco will be a tolerant city protective of civil liberties, or a place where government agents can ticket and fine you for doing absolutely nothing to violate anyone's life, liberty, or property.

Does your Prop L actual read as described? You can sleep on the sidewalk
between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM,
but during the day, you cannot use the seats in the bus shelters which are
"placed on the sidewalk" ?
Is there no exception for wheelchairs,or baby-strollers? or parade days?

Interestingly, yes, Prop L does go on and on about baby strollers, wheel chairs, and the like. I am still voting NO since giving first offenders a warding, second offenders a fine etc. strikes me as a little strange.
