Dear All,
Attached is a questionnaire that could prove useful in a mayoral forum. Also, the questionnaire is a sample of direct and specific questions ("Do you support S.F. providing free or low-cost health care to city residents), as opposed to general questions (such as "Do you believe in individual rights" for example). The questionnaire was provided to LPSF by Dr. Chris Elmendorf, Law Professor at UC Davis. I spoke to Dr. Elmendorf last month regarding data he is compiling tracking differences in what candidates and political parties might say to different audiences on the same subject. Our conversation was in response to his asking LPSF for its public ballot recommendations; which I gathered going back to 2004 and sent to him.
Opportunities like this, help us show that LPSF is ready to work with individuals and groups! And I was able to help thanks to our amazing Webmasters and Initiative Chair, who posted all this public information and made it easily accessible.
