Unions - Graduate Student Wise - Politics As Usual

Dear Everyone;

This ruling by the Labor Board shows what the problem is with unions. It's all the politics. There is no free market free trade for unions. No matter which way the Labor Board rules based on who has the majority Reublicans or Democrats. It's all politics.

Heh - this is my alma mater. My read on this is mostly that the socialists
in the student body want to be in a union, and since TAing is what they do
for a living, they must be in a TA union.

Kind of like a dot-com colleague who tried to stage a "protected labor
action" to protest his boss getting reassigned to another group. He so
badly wanted to be part of the revolution...

A tip to those folks - getting rid of the labor laws would put the romance
and challenge back into the proletariat struggle. Your sense of romance
and drama compels you! Vote Libertarian!
