Two Stories About How Bad Things Are Becoming For the Troops In Iraq

Ron,

Just wish to let you know how much I appreciate the inside-the-war info you've been updating us with. Many thanks.

Best, Michael

Dear Dr. Mike;

Thanks.

It is only a little bit of what really needs to be reported ala Vietnam and those reports vs. the media reporting on the hand outs from the Green Zone PAO (military - Public Affairs Office) or White House.

Maybe some of the local Libertarian - Mars of Wars will re-consider their suppport or at least ameliorate their stance. Afterall, we do need to know what our forcibly taken tax dollars are buying and where they are going and to whom for what AND as always - At what price glory?

The whole sadly painful part are the Iraqi civilians caught amidst the brutal bloody carnage and no one to turn to who keep paying the price of the stupid folly of war literally dumped on their doorsteps or literally bursting through their front doors.

Non-sequitor: "What Price Glory" a really great anti-war film on WWI French forces starring Kirk Douglas - directed by Stanley Kubrick who also collaborated with Kirk Douglas an another really great epic film - Spartacus. Get it or either on dvd if you can at BlockBuster or Netflix - it's well done. What Price Glory not at the level of All Quiet On The Western Front but definitely has very dramatic moments on war's futility and those driving the futility.
