Dear Starchild;
Then as a courtesy do the full url and the tiny url as doing the tiny
url takes a another couple seconds and then we don't end up with
broken mangled rendered url's courtesy of yahoo. Tah Dah
And as mentioned it is a courtesy kinda thang... :-0

Ron,
I can see your point, but it's also nice in many cases to be
able to
just look at a URL and see what site it goes to, which a tinyURL
address doesn't tell you unless you click on it. Just yesterday,
for
example, Derek posted an email about a new FBI spy program.
Without
seeing the URL I might not have realized I'd already seen this fun
spoof, but as it was I saved myself the trouble of checking it out
again. Also if I just glance through an email and see a web address
and
don't immediately go check it out, I may still remember the site
and
visit it directly later when it's more convenient, after I no
longer
have the email in front of me.
Love & liberty,
