Though the Governor has said that he will veto the recently passed
marriage equality bill, Equality California is still attempting to
change his mind before the bill reaches his desk. There are three
things you can do (gay or straight, as long as you support marriage
equality) to help:

It's not too late. The bill hasn't yet reached his desk, so there's
time to change his mind. Kai and I still have our 510 and 415 cell
phone numbers, so we're both going to call both the Sacramento and San
Francisco offices. And since Kai is from LA, he's going to call that
office. Though I'm no fan of the modern poll technology giving us a
quasi-pure democracy (mob rule), when you can't beat them, you have to
join them. We should all make as many contacts as possible with the
Governor's office and ask our friends and family to do the same. He
needs to think this veto decision will cost him his political future, so
we need to call and write as much as possible.
Oh, and you may also want to mention you're a Libertarian when you make
these contacts. Schwarzenegger has likely written off all the Democrats
in San Francisco, but maybe if he thinks he's going to lose "swing"
votes over this, he'll reconsider.
