Thoughts on the state party endorsement of both Governor candidates

I wrote up some thoughts about the state party's endorsements this weekend. Maybe a bit controversial, but it's my feeling anyway. Open to discussion!

Hi Nick. Yes, thanks for the great write-up and thoughts on the issue.
This issue of idealism versus pragmatism has plagued the party for decades
and is probably one of the reasons the party hasn't come so far in almost
50 years. I voted for Wildstar and not Zoltan, but I'm not sure that it's
the end of the world that the party endorsed both candidates. Zoltan's
endorsement of basic guaranteed income just bothered me too much. I was
glad to see him mention the "l" word in his candidate statement in the
state voter's handbook--it might attract some curiosity about the party and
our philosophy.

Thanks!
