Maybe he might have some ideas.
Meetup? I want to put the party in Libertarian. You never can tell what might come from the hook-up.
Plus it's always good to BE "up to something" if we want to attract people. Life is demanding and people need "bang for their buck". Mixing fun with saving Lady Liberty delivers value.
Sounds good to me, John! I suppose Marin would want to celebrate when they see some website results; however, you are entirely correct about meetups. Maybe it is time for Bay Area LP's to have a get together.
Good idea Marcy....although I have to say the East Bay LP hosts numerous events open to everyone. So just getting folks to participate in what is already going on there would be a step in the right direction. Terry Floyd can steer us in that regard. But a formal ideally annual LP Bay Area pow wow sounds good too.
You are right, Mike. I, for one, have not been as careful in paying attention to East Bay LP events. Attending their events would be a way to start, and then grow the invitation list somehow.
"Libertarian Meetup" should be more popular than bingo or clubbing! Maybe more popular than happy hour!

Maybe it should be called a mixer.

Speaking of East Bay LP events, while this is not the Libertarian Party per se, the newly formed Young Americans for Liberty at UC Berkeley are going to be tabling this Wednesday and Friday at Sproul Plaza from 11am - 2pm (map link attached for those not familiar with the campus, or you can always use Mapquest). It's about a 20-30 minute walk from BART. I'm going to try to go and help them one of those days; if anyone else is interested, please see details in their message below.
Love & Liberty,
