There was some talk about doing something for Tax Freedom Day. This message from the Libertarian Party of California lists this year's Tax Freedom Day for the state and the country as a whole. (Hmm... I wonder when it is for the entire world? Now *that* would be a global holiday worth celebrating!)
Anyway, just thought I'd put the dates out there. I'm not opposed to doing something, but no big ideas are coming to mind on it. I do think it would be good for us to do some immigration-related outreach for May Day. Traditionally there are big immigrant rights marches that day, but not sure who's organizing such locally. I'd like to speak at such an event.
