Aubrey and I came up with a press release which I just finished e-mailing to all the major local media. It does not "feel" like the usual Libertarian fire and brimstone releases, but I think it is appropriate under the circumstances that we are asking the Ron Paul and Tea Party folks for their involvement. I have uploaded both the press release (PDF/sflp Tax Day Outreach) and the media list (Word/sflp Major Local Media) in the Files section of the Activists List.
Closer to April 15, I will send out another round of press releases. Meanwhile, please help to promote this event in any imaginative way you can think of. It would be great if LPSF had a Tax Day Outreach 2014, 2015, etc.
Aubrey is working on gathering the tax-related literature, and we are still on track for our Button Making Party at Francoise's right after the LPSF meeting on April 13 (thank you, Francoise!!). If you know of a good tax-related piece that the general public might be interested in reading, please let us know.
