Tatiana Menaker petition

This letter from Carol (carpetbagger) Moore is very disappointing.
Tatiana was clearly treated unfairly by the LPSF administration.

She was not given a fair hearing and her expulsion was a fait accomplis
before she even showed up at it.

Tatiana's support or lack of it for any political move by the US is
irrelevant to the subject. This is a free-speech issue and nothing
else.

One might want to notice that Carol says things like, "I am sure",
"I AM quite convinced..." and "She also obviously supports...",
without ever substantiating things.
The facts can be oh so inconvenient.

I'd also like to object to the statement Carol makes:
"..the Israelis 56 year habit of stealing Arab land and killing Arabs who
resist, the kind of government deprivation of property and human rights..."

There is no basis in fact for this kind of statement.
I deplore this kind of fallacious reasoning and the deceptive
tactic of appending this 'fact' to another 'fact' trying to get
folks to accept them as the 'truth'.

As far as I know, the LPSF Administration has done nothing at all to
Tatiana, except discuss her situation. Some members have signed her
petition, some have not. I think you need to proofread your postings
before clicking on the send button.

Remembering the historic 9th Circuit Court
controversial ruling 2 years ago regarding Michael
Newdow's case against religious references in the
Pledge, he's back again this week for the real deal.
This Wednesday he presents his case to the US Supreme
Court. Power to the people!

There is also a rally here and in DC in support of
this action. I'll definitely be there since my gf is
one of the speakers. If anyone wants to meet up first,
let me know.

Terry,

What I wrote was a response to Carol Moore.
Nothing more, nothing less.

In fact, the private support from LPSF members
has been quite gratifying.

I'm not sure where I gave you the impression that
I was of the impression that the LPSF had even taken
a position. I apologize for that.

On the other hand, can you please explain to me
what I said that made you feel that way. I'd like
to not come across incorrectly again.

Yours,

Bruce Cohen

Dear Bruce;

I believe the reference was to an earlier e-mail you sent where you put in LPSF Administration instead of SFSU administration.

I'd be interested.
