Hi Aubrey and All,
I posted about LPSF's outreach table on Sunday Streets on the LPSF website Bay Area Events. While finding information on Sunday Streets, the thought occurred to me that the dreaded Plan Bay Area is winning points in every way they can; in the case of Sunday Streets it is with conga lines, roller skates, hoola hoops, and FUN! Meanwhile the opposition to Plan Bay Area tries to get adherents by shouts, claims of doom, and all manner of negative vibes. So who do you think is going to win?
So, good we will have a friendly greeting table at April 14th's Sunday Streets!
For those interested in a quick view of Sunday Streets, I have copied here my post in Bay Area Events.

Sunday Streets is a monthly event sponsored by the City of San Francisco, Livable City, and the Municipal Trasportation Agency. The mission statement of Livable City is: "Livable City works to create a San Francisco of great streets and complete neighborhoods, where walking, bicycling, and transit are the best choices for most trips, where public spaces are beautiful, well-designed, and well-maintained, and where housing is more plentiful and more affordable."
Great objectives, but unfortunately, a lot of micromanagement is coming down the path along with all this beautifying. (See LPSF's article "Plan Bay Area: Vision or Micromanagement." http://www.lpsf.org/joomla25/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=317:
Nonetheless, LPSF will have an outreach table at the Sunday Streets of April 14, 2013, promoting the next day's Tax Day Outreach and March to the Federal Building. Sunday Streets on April 14 will be on Valencia and 24th Streets, from 11 am - 4 pm. "The streets will be transformed to a place for you to get our and active. Grab your walking shoes, hula hoops, and skates, and roll over to the Mission!"
