Here is a thought: In her junior year in college my daughter landed
un UNPAID internship with Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, a
Washington DC based non-profit. She got to organize demonstrations,
write articles for the Leadership's website, promote the
organization's activities, etc. To this day, she remembers her
experience with the Leadership as one of her fondest memories, has
placed her work at the Leadership prominently in every resume she
ever sent out, has named her supervisor at the Leadership as a
reference in every job application she ever completed. There is lots
and lots a "self-starter" can do with the LPSF, from developing
capaign strategies, to promoting our upcoming Peace Rally. I suggest
we make offers.

How about working on the Eric Dupree for Mayor campaign?

Hi Cory!
Thanks for getting in touch. I'll pass your email on to our
local
activists. Would you like to join our email discussion list to
introduce yourself and find out what we're up to? I can send
you
a
link to subscribe. Two other very active groups in our area
are
the
East Bay Libertarian Party and the Outright Libertarians.
Cheers,
Justin Sampson
