Central to libertarianism is the idea of non-aggression -- that initiating force or fraud is wrong. Force in this conception has generally been understood to be limited to physical force. But according to the article below, just posted by someone to another list I'm on, researchers have found that social rejection can cause physical effects in the brain and "physical and social pain may be more similar than we realized." Thoughts?
