During the February meeting, @Starchild mentioned a superb idea of getting together to creating a Handout to provide to UnHoused Persons as a key form of new 2025 OutReach. However, it’s unnecessary to go to the trouble of coordinating another in-person meeting when @StarChild, Brendan, et al interested can simply draft copy in the forum & & can copy & paste that into a layout. A “DRAFT’ template is attached. You fellows can devise & finalize some text & I can recreate something quickly.
I can also just send the final file to printandgo@fedex.com & obtain a “printout code” with which any one of Y’all can use to easily make copies in-house at any FedExOffice near you with a purchased FedEx PrintCard OR Your Credit/Debit Card.
Double-sided ( color or black & white ) printed/copied back-to-back, & then bisect it.
I think it is helpful to include contact info & @StarChild’s mugshot since many UnHoused folks get a lot of stuff that is dehumanizingly impersonal & generic.
I am curious to learn how many UnHoused Persons vote or how they might otherwise increase the profile of the LPSF. Although I have never owned a car or license ( & have not for years needed a cell phone … & yet have travelled around the World ), most of my automobilist friends & acquaintances never cease to complain & become apoplectically aggravated about parking their expensive vehicles in scarcely available designated spaces in SF & yet still try desperately to avoid astronomically high ticketing — & yet UnHoused Persons are apparently able to “park” & reside in nearly any place they choose, even surrounded by filth ( despite anti-littering laws & steep fines ), without any significant consequence or enforcement of public space use codes, the violations of which are paid for by all You SF TaxPayers.
