Special LPSF meeting on the upcoming Election (This Tuesday, Mission Bowling Club, 7pm!)

Greetings Freedom Lovers!

We didn’t get around to ballot recommendations at our regular meeting Saturday (although we did hear from special guest, Community College Board candidate Jill Yee), so we’re having a special meeting to vote on them, this Tuesday evening!

We picked the Mission Bowling Club as the location, because that’s one of the venues where we’re talking about possibly holding an upcoming social event. When we get this event scheduled, we’ll be inviting folks via a mass mailing to registered Libertarians, to hopefully get some more folks involved.

Tuesday’s meeting at the MBC will give us a chance to check out the venue, as well as a place to meet on short notice to get out our voting recommendations – voting by mail for the November 6 election has already begun! (By the way, if you need to register or reregister to vote, October 24 is the last day to do so if you want to vote in this election).

You may have already received a ballot in the mail, but if not you can read up on what’s on the ballot here:

Please read up on the measures and candidates, and come prepared with your thoughts and opinions on what positions and recommendations the LPSF should take and make! You can either join us in person, or on JitSi (videoconferencing software like Zoom) at Jitsi Meet https://meet.jit.si/LPSFMonthlyMeeting.

Mission Bowling Club
3176 17th Street (between South Van Ness and Shotwell streets)
San Francisco CA
7:00-10:00pm (meeting)

If you want to come early, to check the place out, bowl, socialize or what-not, they open at 4pm. I’m going to try to be there at 6pm. They close at 10pm, so depending how long our ballot discussion takes, and what time they start trying to vacate the premises, there may not be much time afterward.
