So it sounds like we'd just have a couple days after our meeting before the deadline for the November election, since we meet on the 8th. Hopefully we can each get at least a few signatures for the measures before then. I'm not actually sure if the referendum has the same deadline though. And Maxine plans to continue gathering signatures even if her effort falls short, in order to seek to place the measure on a future ballot or increase pressure on the Supervisors to adopt similar legislation.
