SF Police Commissioner Downplays Recent Mob Thefts

Any suggestions for an LPSF reply?

FWIW, the cannabis dispensary across the street from me is boarding up their windows today.

I called them to ask what’s up, and they told me that it’s in response to the recent looting incidents. (They themselves haven’t been hit.)

@HamasakiLaw It really is wild how upset the editors/owners @sfchronicle get over stolen luxury goods. Maybe it feels personal to them? Dunno, but would be great if their love of crime reporting extended to corporate crime, wage theft, and insider corruption. https://twitter.com/equalityalec/status/1462822656831639555

Take a look at the homepage of the San Francisco Chronicle. Four articles on a supposed “Pack of thieves” and a “wild rampage” and “out of control shoplifting.” It’s like an advertisement produced by a creative partnership between a cop and a private equity CEO. pic.twitter.com/YemCGOzijE 9:16 AM - 22 Nov 2021 43 14
