SF Gun Ban

Here's a crucial issue for the LPSF to fight, allied with the Pink Pistols and GOA.

Dear Dr. Mike;

The real issue here is Chris Daly the architect of the proposed gun ban. What needs to be done is a re-call election of Chris Daly and the 5 Supervisors who also supported the legislation without allowing any public comment. Basically skulking around in the dead of the night like so many creatures from Night of the Living Dead creating and putting the issue on the ballot while no one was watching.

What happens if the legislation is passed and people do not turn their guns in? Is Daly going to send the police around house by house collecting guns???

Nothing like dis-arming the non-violent, law -abiding citizens and sending out an alert to all robbers and rapists to come to San Francisco no ones armed. Talk about a really stupid way to create more tourism in San Francisco.

I agree, though at the moment I am still stunned by the magnitude of the
proposal.

Any thoughts on how to fight this? I have a sinking feeling that most of
the electorate will support this.
