The SF Chronicle came out against Prop. 21 the $18 vehicle tax to support parks.
I sent an LTE about how the the parks funding could be handled. The SF Chronicle
agreed and published with affiliation.

Don't tax, charge admission
The Prop. 21 $18 vehicle license fee to raise $500 million for California parks
is a needless tax.
With 70 million visitors to California parks, do the math and have the visitors
who use the parks support the parks. Charge a user fee of $7.25, which raises
the $500 million and hiring park gatekeepers plus funds for garbage and
restroom clean-up.
