The Board of Supervisors voted 9-1 (Sean Elsbernd opposed, Gerardo Sandoval absent) to modify the rules governing cannabis dispensaries so as to make them less onerous to dispensary operators in various ways, including making it easier to stay open provisionally during the permitting process, eliminating employee background checks, etc. A small victory!
