Maxine is seeking to get information on the "First Offenders Prostitution Program" which is funded by the District Attorney's office and run by an anti-sexuality non-profit group called SAGE. Their program features shame-based classes for arrested prostitutes and clients, which are supposedly free, but some participants have anecdotally been charged to attend. Maxine says one of SAGE's board members is also a staff attorney with the D.A.'s office, a blatant conflict of interest. She is now seeking to pursue "willful misconduct" charges against D.A. Kamala Harris, who is (unfortunately) running for reelection unopposed. You go, girl!
