Sept 28th protest.

Hello all,

On september 28th International ANSWER and the usual hate America
crowd will be holding a protest. It would be a opportunity for
anti-war libertarians to protest ANSWER itself and the de-facto
leadership of the anti-war movement it enjoys. I am wondering if
any bay area libertarians would be interested, and how many. I
helped ANSWER to hold four of their major marches last year before
leaving in disgust, so I have some experience in doing this sort
of thing.
We would need at least 40-50 people willing to show up on the day
of the protest in order to make any kind of an impression. We
would need at least 10 people willing to spend some time planning
and preparing. We won't need much money, just enough to make
banners and signs. People will have to leave their flaming
libertarian egos at home until the event itself.
I have some ideas on how we might proceed, but this is a public
list and ANSWER would not be happy about my plan. Furthermore I
don't see any point in getting into this unless enough people to
make it worthwhile are interested. ANSWER and their fellow
travelers are neo-communists of the worst sort, so it would seem
like libertarians might have some motivation to participate.

Thanks,
Steve.
