[Sdlibchat] HSBC settlement illustrates moral bankruptcy of the "War on Drugs"

Faced with big-league power and cold realities, the war-on-drugs is a sham. Prosecuting the banks is just another element of its insanity. At least somebody is big enough to stand it down.

Certainly, the bank shouldn't have been prosecuted to begin with. It had acted faithfully towards its customers.

Its lenient treatment only demonstrates the duplicity of the witch-hunt that preys on the the lives and property of the weak.

In a just world, those victims would recover damages from the agents of the war on drugs. Instead the WOD confiscates even more from other innocent parties to the bank.

History will reveal the war on drugs to be a holocaust second only to the socialist genocides.
