Save drakes bay

Thanks for your offer, John.

I'll keep it in mind and inform you should I find some extra time.

Warm regards, Michael

Michael, you probably don’t know that an Indian lady (I can never remember her Indian name) from SF, who is a Republican office holder at some level (sorry, I don’t remember her office either) just got elected as Vice Chair of the California State Republican Party at the GOP state convention I attended in Sacramento 2 weeks ago. She is highly regarded among libertarian Republicans (Republican Liberty Caucus types) to be very libertarian in the SF sense. (personal liberties, gay marriage, but also free markets, etc.) But she is not a pure libertarian.

So, libertarian involvement in the RP in SF may not be as ineffectual and hopeless as you think. If you are interested, I can get her exact name and you could contact her to get involved. I think her name is Harmeet?? Probably spelled wrong. You could accomplish a lot by seeking areas of agreement. Of course, it is too easy to dig for areas of disagreement, get disgruntled, and give up. (I could do that too easily here in Sonoma County if I wanted to.)

She's the chair of the SF GOP
