San Francisco’s Incredible Expanding Budget - SF Magazine

An eye-opening piece from Benjamn Wachs, who has sometimes written for SF Weekly...

Something to keep in mind when politicians say they need more money to pay for "affordable" housing or other things people want/need. They need to start hearing the message that the way to pay for these things is by cutting personnel costs, not figuring out new ways to fleece the public.

According to a piece in yesterday's Examiner, the SF Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is now asking their staff to study expanding meters again by charging people for parking at night! #CPCA! (Cut Personnel Costs, Assholes!)
