The City issued a Public Health Order requiring people to stay home except for essential needs.
Vulnerable populations must stay home. Everyone should stay home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care, or go to an essential job.
It is OK to go outside for walks if you are not in a group.
This order is in effect until April 7.
It may be extended depending on recommendations from public health officials.

Is there an enforcement mechanism or is it voluntary?
Do others on this list share my view that governments at all levels are overreacting to the virus, and, if so would the SFLP consider putting this view out there? Someone needs to call bulls—t on this thing, but without sounding like an anti-vaxxer or conspiracy theorist. Yes, this virus is a legitimate concern, but its potential impact is being exaggerated and individuals should be allowed more options in dealing with this situation.

No. Governments at all levels completely botched the response. I’m sure we’re all aware of the White House not letting CDC recommend that older adults avoid traveling, CDC providing bad tests, and CDC forbidding UW from revealing SARS-CoV2 results.
However, non-government organizations, infectious disease researchers, and epidemiologists have been accurately predicting the trajectory and severity of SARS-CoV2, and have been recommending precautions that are far more austere than the government recommendations. We know that we are heading towards catastrophe by the near perfect alignment of our circumstances to earlier ones in Italy.
This article suggests that there is a latent TB issue is both China and Italy.
I know some don’t like Lew Rockwell’s site but I find this claim credible.
I don’t know anyone who has gotten it. But I do know several people who are absolutely terrified of it. And they spend nearly their entire day watching fear porn on TV News.

Another thing….there is a very low fatality among women in China and presumably Italy. The reason could easily be that men smoke a lot more than women and their respiratory systems are compromised.

The States in the U.S. with the highest number of COVID-19 are California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, the states where migrants cross the border.
Washington and New York have the most confirmed cases. It seems that those two States were excluded from the list, because Lew Rockwell wants to push a ridiculous anti-migrant conspiracy theory.
