Runoff recommendations?

Chris,

  I agree with recommending Hallinan (no surprise there!) With Gonzalez
and Newsom, I think we ought to talk to both of them and see what
reasons they can offer for our support. I can see good arguments for
voting either way.

The membership can't make a recommendation without sufficient notice,
but I
think the ExCom (which can do so unanimously) would certainly be
interested
in hearing from folks before and at the next meeting.

In the DA's race, I would definitely prefer Hallinan to Harris.

In the mayor's race... I think I am going to hold my nose and vote for
Newsom. Can anyone make a case for a recommendation either way?
