I had breakfast, (along with about 60 other people) with Giuliani on
Saturday morning. I'm quite sure he's going to be the GOP nominee.
Judging from the group I was with, it's safe to say he's certainly the
establishment's candidate at this point. During his speech he was
saying some good things on taxes, privatization, and IMO, the Iraq
war. However, as much as he's saying the right things to appeal to
conservatives, it still worried me to hear someone say "i want the
government to give money to the people, because they know best how to
spend it".
These are the words of someone that doesn't get it. Why does the
government have the money in the first place? I think he's got as
good a chance of any as being the next pres.
