Dear Ron and Eric,
Non sequiturs abound here? Soooooo.....tell me again where *RON
PAUL* says he is an ally of the TVC?
...And tell me again where *RON PAUL* says he gives a hoot what
anyone does in their bedroon? Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems
Ron Paul's proposal is to get government out of the marriage
business, which is what the LP has been in favor all along? Same with
privatization of Social Security.
(BTW I am having super problems with Yahoo. Tried to respond to your
e-mail before. So, if there are two responses, please feel free to
blame Yahoo.)

Dear Marcy;
Directly from the article: The Christian Seniors Association mailer
says the best way to protect Social Security is to support passage of
the Social Security Preservation Act, authored by Rep. Ron Paul, a
Texas Republican and ally of the Traditional Values Coalition.
BTW: Convention? What convention?
BTW: From Ron Paul's web site:
Congressman Ron Paul is proud to be endorsed
by many groups and individuals devoted to liberty
Reverend Louis P. Sheldon of Traditional Values Coalition
You don't get the Rev. Sheldon endorsement if you do not endorse
what the group stands for. Perhaps he can also explain why he finds
it necessary to use the power of the state to stop courts from ruling
on moral issues:
Texas Republican Representative Ron Paul has introduced the "We,
The People Act," H.R. 4379, a bill that will restrict federal courts
(including the Supreme Court) from issuing rulings on religious
freedom, reproduction, and marriage.
The bill was crafted by Rep. Paul with constitutional attorney Herb
Titus. It is designed to prohibit renegade federal liberal judges
from violating the will of the American people and state legislatures
on important moral issues.
The legislation implements several Articles of the Constitution
that give Congress the authority to regulate the types of cases that
federal courts can hear. The Congress can also create or abolish
federal courts as it wishes—and regulate the pay of federal judges.
The "We, The People Act" is fully supported by TVC and we will be
lobbying for its passage this year. The full text of H.R. 4379 is
here: H.R. 4379

Dear Ron,
I cannot find where Ron Paul says he is "an ally" of the
Traditional
Values Coalition. I see that statement in the Chronicle article,
but
that is it. But, who knows, wonders never cease.
BTW, I agree with you that conventions determine path. Are you all
going to the LPCA convention? We are allowed 11 delegates. Easier
than starting a new political party!!!
