right to carry

I can't find the original paper, which I respected a lot, because it was written by 3 university students who didn't seem to draw any strong conclusions (they seemed unbiased). But what I gleaned from it was in the last email I sent.

I did find some good stuff. I have no idea how unbiased these sources are, but it appears that "right to carry" laws
lower the number of gun-related crimes.

And I found this one quite humorous:

Additionally, without the ability to "fight the power" at all levels, including the physical, power will be abused. I feel it is being abused today, and that I have no chance to rectify the situation.. because the rest of America either disagrees or doesn't care enough. Someone on this list has a sig I like: "/America's at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. " - Claire Wolfe
