I appreciate your erudite and humorous reply. You make some good arguments. However, they do not address the intent of my messages.
My messages are not designed to preach to the choir or convince anyone on this list RP is a great guy and a scholar. We all know this. (joke) They are for informing members of a variety of issues related to liberty, usually with the RP campaign as the vehicle.
For example, they may be unaware of and interested in: novel perspectives on the campaign, insights into the effects of the freedom message on the electorate, activities for getting the freedom message out, latest poll numbers, persuasive URLs to forward to friends, colleagues, and email lists for educational and persuasive purposes, etc.
Please consider Dr. Paul is assisting us LPSFers immensely in the rapidly-increasing access he is getting to the ears and eyes of the American people. To the extent his message is heard we will benefit in converts to the freedom philosophy and ultimately in the health, vibrancy, and numbers of the libertarian--and Libertarian--movement.
Please do not look a gift horse in the mouth. (I'm not calling Ron Paul a horse.)
I suggest you and I quit clogging the bandwidth with this debate and poll our members. If most want me to cease and desist, of course I'll respect this.
