Just a friendly reminder that SF Pride Contingent Monitor Training is this week, and we still need people to train and be monitors in our pride parade contingent, which will include LP Vice Presidential Nominee Wayne Root. Please note the bit about "If you do not have the correct amount of trained contingent monitors the day of the parade, your contingent will be prohibited from entering the parade route and no refund will be provided." They're serious about that. And we'd hate to waste Wayne's time (and the rest of ours as well). It's better to have ten people trained, which lets people switch out duties of carrying signs/banners, than to only have 5 trained (one short of the 6 required).
If you haven't already, please let me know if you're planning to get trained, and also once you've finished training. Oh, and be sure they have you recorded as having trained on behalf of Outright Libertarians. Thank you.
Here's the schedule:

*CONTINGENT MONITORS/TRAININGS
*Contingent Monitors are volunteers/staff members provided by your organization that will walk with you along the parade route acting as safety monitors for your contingent. They will need to attend a training prior to the parade. These trainings are *MANDATORY*. If you do not have the correct amount of trained contingent monitors the day of the parade, your contingent will be prohibited from entering the parade route and no refund will be provided. Here is how you determine how many contingent monitors you require:
2-25 persons marching = 2 Contingent Monitors
26 to 50 persons marching = 4 Contingent Monitors
51 to 75 persons marching = 6 Contingent Monitors
76 to 100 persons marching = 8 Contingent Monitors
Motorcycles = Are considered "people"
2 Contingent Monitors per axle (Trucks, Cars, Convertibles, Floats)
* Contingent Monitor Trainings Updated!*
All Contingent Monitors (also sometime called "Wheel Monitors") must attend a one-hour training, most of which are held concurrently with the first hour of Safety Trainings.
The most current schedule of Contingent Monitor Trainings is given below. More will be posted soon.
