Libertarian candidate for governor Art Olivier will be participating in a
third-party gubernatorial debate along with Peter Camejo (G), Janice
Jordan (P&F), and Edward Noonan (AIP) at the Commonwealth Club, 2nd &
Market, at noon on Monday. See <URL:
http://www.commonwealthclub.org/featured/#gubernatorial >. If you support
Art's campaign, turn out and show it at this free event; if you have
questions about his positions on immigration and sexual freedom, show up
and ask them. Reservations are recommended.

I don't support his campaign, but I don't oppose it to the extent that I want to embarrass him, and the LP, by challenging him on his anti-libertarian positions at a public forum with candidates for other parties. So I plan to express my dissatisfaction by simply ignoring his presence in SF.

The Libertarian Party will be hosting an Operation Politically Homeless
outreach booth at the Wonders of Cannabis Festival at Golden Gate Park in
San Francisco this weekend, October 28 and 29. The festival is open to the
public from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Hall of Flowers located at
10th and Lincoln. Medical Marijuana activist and Libertarian Candidate Steve
Kubby will be a featured speaker at the festival on Sunday afternoon.
For more information on the Festival, visit their website at
http://www.wondersofcannabis.com/ or the Cannabis Action Network
http://www.cannabisactionnetwork.org Volunteers are needed to staff our
booth on both days of the festival. We need at least two volunteers
throughout the festival on both days. Regular admission to the festival
costs $20, but this fee is waived for exhibitor table volunteers. If we
have more than two staffers at a time, these additional volunteers are
eligible for a reduced admission price of $12 per person.
If you are available to help out this weekend, please contact Terry Floyd
for more information on the Wonders of Cannabis Festival and tips on how you
can help.
