Glad you're OK, but watch out! They may try to bill you for that (presumably unrequested) airlift. I've heard firsthand how that has happened to people transported by ambulances they did not request.
For anyone finding themselves in such a situation, I suggest stating clearly that you only accept the offer of transportation on the condition that you are not required to pay for it, and by all means do not sign anything (unless of course you actually do want the transportation, and are willing to take the risk of exorbitant charges).
