Re: Update on JC Appeal

Thanks, Richard. Do you have or are you able to get SF voter registration data that was current on the date of the January 8 meeting?

Regarding February 12, I know you had reserved a room at the library for this month's meeting; do you know whether that reservation is listed online anywhere? I'd just like to confirm that they still have us booked, and haven't changed their Covid policies again or something.

Hi everyone,
This is an update on the JC Appeal regarding the LPSF officer elections last month.

I need to send the JC a copy of the SF County voter registration list by Feb. 11. I will do that first thing tomorrow. This is needed as evidence regarding the eligibility of people voting at our January meeting. After that, the JC will hold a final meeting on Feb. 15th to make a decision as to whether the elections were properly conducted.

In all likelihood, they will require us to re-do the officer elections. LPSF bylaws require we give the membership 30 days notice. If that is the case, the LPSF meeting scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 12 will not be a “meeting” proper, and any decisions/votes made at that meeting (outside of setting the next meeting date) are non-binding and unofficial.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Richard

Hi Starchild,

On the date of Jan 8, no-- outside of the state party database, which I
referenced in the appeal. The list I’m getting is the most recent.

The reservation is on the SF Main Library website under “Community Group”
(their term, not mine):
Meeting Rooms Calendar | San Francisco Public Library . You’ll see it’s
reserved through May; I believe that was as far in advance I could book.
2:30-5:30pm, so people can arrive a bit early and leave a little later if
discussion goes long.
