Thanks for forwarding, Mike. I agree, it's a great editorial. David was part of the SF Taxpayers Union, and has been fighting the misguided "bus rapid transit" scheme on Geary for years. As head of the Greater Geary Boulevard Merchants & Property Owners Association he also hosts an annual gala event for merchants and officials. I've periodically reached out to him and tried to get him to include Libertarian speakers at this event (and volunteered to appear myself), but so far no luck.
