Also in the interests of transparency, I’m copying this thread to the Activists list, which is where I think we should be having this kind of discussion, so other members besides the officers can see what we’re talking about between meetings as far as moving this or other projects forward, and weigh in if they have input.

Agreed. While I don’t see it as a pressing priority, I have no objections, and see no reason not to list all the LPSF minutes we have on our website, assuming someone (Richard?) is willing to do the work to add them.

It’d be nice to have all the minutes posted on the website as well. Or at least the most recent ones.On Sat, Jun 21, 2025, 7:36 AM Jeff Y. <jeff@yunes.us mailto:jeff@yunes.us> wrote:
I’m not sure if they have or not, but this is for extra stuff to put online, on our website and/or the partiful link.
That way, if people go to the invite online, but can’t or don’t want to attend, they can see other things we’re up to and ways to get involved.

Hi Starchild,
When I saw your email yesterday, I thought that the postcards had already gone out.

Hi Jeff,
You asked me for some language to add to the invitation and RSVP pages, that’s addressed to folks who won’t be able to attend the party.
I would suggest putting this brief note at the bottom of the invitation…
Whether or not you can make it to our 4th of July party, we’d still like to hear from you! CLICK HERE for more info.
…with clicking on “CLICK HERE” taking folks to a different page (not the exact same RSVP page, as I think that could cause confusion).
For that additional page, I suggest the text below. I would also propose we make this (with the slight modification of making Register To Vote a separate paragraph) a permanent page on our website. Perhaps listed as the first item from the pull-down menu under “What Can I Do?”
(We might also want to merge the “What Can I Do?” and “Connect With Us” menus, as they kind of overlap, but I would suggest visitors be first directed to a single welcome page from which they can choose among multiple actions like those listed below).
Thank you for your interest in getting more involved with the Libertarian Party of San Francisco! Here are a few ways you can do this: Join the Libertarian Party Presumably you’re already registered to vote as a Libertarian (if you need to register or update your registration, you can visit https://www.sf.gov/register-to-vote). But you can also join the state and/or national Libertarian Party as a member, to support us with your dues of $25 a year or more, be eligible to vote on party business or hold party office, and get an official membership card, by visiting: • https://ca.lp.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/New-Membership-Form-6.22.22.pdf (for Libertarian Party of California membership) and/or • https://www.lp.org/join (for national Libertarian Party membership). State party membership includes membership in the LPSF if you select San Francisco as the county with which you wish to affiliate (you don’t have to live in San Francisco or even in California to choose us!). Attend our Monthly LPSF Meetings We meet on the 2nd Saturday each month from 3-5pm, in the main library located at 100 Grove Street (corner of Larkin) in San Francisco, in the 3rd floor Paley community room unless otherwise noted. If you are unable to attend in person, you can also join us virtually via Jit.Si (a videoconferencing platform like Zoom), by going to https://meet.jit.si/LPSFMonthlyMeeting. Join our Email Lists We have three email lists that we use to keep in touch between monthly meetings: • A limited posting, low-volume announcement list, LPSF-announce@Forum.LPSF.org <mailto:LPSF-announce@Forum.LPSF.org> • An activist list for party business, LPSF-activists@Forum.LPSF.org <mailto:LPSF-activists@Forum.LPSF.org> • A discussion list where folks can talk about whatever (keep it nice please), LPSF-discuss@Forum.LPSF.org <mailto:LPSF-discuss@Forum.LPSF.org> You can subscribe, read and post to our lists via whatever app or software you use for email (just send an email to the address of the list you want to join), or on the web at https://forum.lpsf.org/ Be an Activist! Of course there’s always much more we can do for liberty! You can check out a few suggestions here – https://lpsf.org/activists-options. If there’s a pro-freedom issue you’re already working on in San Francisco, or would like to work on, we’d love to hear about it. Feel free to give me a call directly with any questions, ideas, concerns or other feedback, at (415) 625-FREE, or email chair@lpsf.org <mailto:chair@lpsf.org>.
