I dunno. I didn't "take-over" the Marin LP. 
I just offered to improve the web presence. Then it seemed like there should be a celebration so I proposed the meet-up to put on the calander.
With all due respect...you can have something to put on the website if the Marin LP comes to an LPSF meeting to show Bay Area LP solidarity. And it won't involve moving a lot of people around. Just a thought.
Of course if you can get some Marin folks to show up...it would be fun to get together whether there is a website incentive or not.
