RE: [lpsf-discuss] SF Gun Ban

I wonder if this angle would be effective: Asking, "If you had to
choose one group of people to own all the guns, which would it be?" We
might suggest single mothers, to exhibit our caring and concern.
Obviously gun control places all the guns in the hands of the police,
which otherwise aren't necessarily liberals' favorite group.

Dear Michael;

How about asking Duh Daly why he is going after decent, law-abiding, adults and trying to dis-arm them? Why is Duh Daly deciding to take the right of choice away from San Franciscans who can decide for themselves if they want a gun in their home to protect themselves from murderers and robbers and rapists? Gun-toting murderers and rapists and robbers don't care a fig.

As far as banning all guns in San Francisco how will the ban be upheld? A fence across the Southern border and check points at all streets entering San Francisco? Armed water patrols so smugglers can't sneak guns into SF from the beaches and the bay?

This is not to mention the fact that this is stealth legislation snuck in under the cover of night without any public debate. Gosh Duh Daly why no public debate???
