Makes sense to me....if we believe central power is a bad thing, and I
do...then anything that allows for a wide diversity of opinion reflected
in local law to flourish is a good thing.
By the way...I don't know if any of you saw the article about the
founder of Domino's Pizza who was recently quoted as saying "Freedom and
Morality can only exists through private property". He is promoting a
Christian real estate development in Florida that will strictly enforce
their idea of community (porn filtered internet and cable, etc....).
This may not be to everyone's taste but in my view it reflects the
proper way to create an environment that suites select people with
shared values....buy property and create your own place.
