I hate to be suspicious, and I hope I'm wrong, but could it be that some people have decided that by being uncivil in these discussions, they can make enough people unhappy/angry so that most of you give up and go away. Stick in there and ignore and don't even answer the uncivil ones and maybe those who can't take part politely will finally give up and go away. Good luck.
