RE: [lpsf-discuss] Re: Guardsmen in Iowa have scrapped the plan for training on the implementation of tyranny.

Eric,
What evidence do you have to support your statement that "Obama seems genuinely interested in dismantling the police state?" Thanks.
Marge

Hi Marge;

He's taken some positive steps in that direction by clsoing
Guantanamo, cancelling contracts with Blackwater, and opposing
torture. A few of his cabinet picks too have been noted critics of
police brutality, lack of due process, and the prison industrial
complex generally. It's too early to tell how far he'll go; but he
seems to be going in the right direction.

More and more such plans will be scrapped. Obama seems genuinely
interested in dismantling the police state, and there's also too

much

public exposure going on. People aren't readily accepting anymore
that a uniform is an entitlement.

the jackoff pandered to some group he thought was his base.....big deal

Actually, you should have read the original thread, since I wasn't
the one who originated it. And Obama WILL close Guantanamo as soon as
the logistics are worked out. Hopefully, he'll follow suit and close
all the other illegal prisons in this country.

What does clsoing Guantanamo accomplish? It makes us something other
than a rogue regime in world opinion. It puts us back on the premise
that America is country of due process. From a civil liberties
standpoint, it can't help but have ramifications against the prison-
industrial complex and unaccountable police departments that have
been preying on Americans for the last several years.

I thought you said that he had closed Guantanamo..........ooops, that is
what you said.

Now you say when he WILL close Guantanamo........

when this cocksure jackoff figures out which way is up.......what you
mean....

Now, Glenn, relax....take a deep breath... Obama IS going to close
Guantanamo. He just can't do everything in 3 weeks. Just like he
won't ahve the troops out of Iraq for a few more months.

Oh,

I thought you said that he had closed Guantanamo..........ooops,

that is

what you said.

Now you say when he WILL close Guantanamo........

when this cocksure jackoff figures out which way is up.......what

you

mean....

Eric

You just keep marching like a penguin every time this guy tells you to do
something.......

and in the meanwhile..... keep lecturing the rest of us on how to achieve
Liberty thru conformity

LOL! So far (unlike Bush) Obama hasn't told us to do ANYTHING! Mainly
he's doing what the so-called 'conservatives' should have been doing:
getting government off our backs; proposing genuine tax cuts; reining
in corporations to promote the free market; and loosening controls on
civil liberties.

Eric

You just keep marching like a penguin every time this guy tells you

to do

something.......

and in the meanwhile..... keep lecturing the rest of us on how to

achieve

Liberty thru conformity
