RE: [lpsf-discuss] PoliticalCompass.org

For example

Q: There is now a worrying fusion of information and entertainment.

Here the key word is "worrying". I have no doubt that there's fusion of
information and entertainment. The fact that this exists doesn't worry
me. The fact that people can't seem to be able to see it as propaganda
is what's worrying and not the fact that it exists...so I answered
Disagree.

Here are some other examples:

Sex outside marriage is usually immoral

A same sex couple in a stable, loving relationship, should not be
excluded from the possibility of child adoption

Pornography, depicting consenting adults, should be legal for the adult
population

What goes on in a private bedroom between consenting adults is no
business of the state

No one can feel naturally homosexual

It's fine for society to be open about sex, but these days it's going
too far.

Note that only one of these actually addresses the relationship of the
state in these issues. That means one can have a personal view that
doesn't relate to their opinion politically. As this is supposed to be a
political test, that line of questioning should be made more clear
and/or be taken into consideration.

The economic issues were more easily addressed in relation to the state.

It's interesting...to do this message I had to go back and review some
of the questions. I just clicked Strongly Disagree to everything and got

Economic Left/Right: 0.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.36
