RE: [lpsf-discuss] "How the Libertarian Party saved my life" by Christopher Cantwell

He is an asshole. And he is willing to SAY he is prepared to blah blah blah, but he won't do jack sh** but write whatever the f'k he wants to write.
Chesley Manning can rot in prison before Cantwell would get off his ass and DO SOMETHING.

Christopher is somewhat of a controversial figure in the movement – to put it bluntly, not a few people say he can be an asshole – and I don't agree with him on every particular below. He rather understates the electoral and direct public policy impact of the third largest party in the United States today and what is arguably one of the most successful political parties in American history. Nevertheless he also makes some very good points here, and writes an excellent essay. Last but not least, he impresses me as someone who, like many of those who pledged their "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor" at Philadelphia in 1776, is actually prepared to give his life for liberty if necessary. How many of us can say that?
