There are things in the Old Testament that could be construed as hateful
but not the 10 Commandments. And remember, this is the Old
Testament...not the latest in religion technology so to speak. Focusing
on some statements in the Old Testament without acknowledging the New
Testament is like drawing conclusions about the nature of technology
before understanding the Internet.
Again, the Old Testament was comfortable with violence, not the new.
That's the difference. If you can see that, then you understand the
positive impact Christianity has had on the world.
