My apologies; I need to work on being less artful in my humor. On one level, my remark about acceptance was a tease about its central role in your life--your taking it as a project to push all our envelopes; I see that as a valuable service, and you're well-positioned to do it, just because you have so much to offer--like your skill and initiative in writing ballot arguments. On another level, I'm impressed if you actually don't experience the difficulties that Cathy was writing about. That would appear to speak well of your success in bridging various divides. That seems to me for all of us a more important skill, and commitment, than ever before in these increasingly polarized times.
