Don't really know the details but I wonder if it will have any indirect affect on gun shows or other events where people walk around with their unloaded guns all the time...the devil is in the details.

So far I have only investigated to see that it sailed through the legislature, with support of the police chiefs and the police research organization with nary any opposition and certainly no general alarm.
Tactically, it does an "end run" around "keeping" arms by prohibiting "bearing" arms, for the very reason we have the the right to "bear" arms.
As such, its THE worst defeat of our 2nd amendments rights, in the long sordid attack against them.
The absence of the NRA activism in this defeat is stunning!!!!
