You’re welcome, Joni! Nice to hear a bit from the school board candidates and folks presenting on some of the other measures, and I appreciated the numerous questions that your moderator Sarah asked the candidates.
I’m not a fan of having the candidates hold up color cards for their answers though. For one thing I’m partly color-blind and had trouble especially in the lighting telling the red cards from the green. For another, I don’t know all of them by name or face and there were too many and it went too quickly to take notes. Finally, it was often hard to see all the cards from where I was sitting. Even after I requested the candidates hold their cards up over their heads, many did not do this. Were their responses written down anywhere, and if so, could you email them to me or point me to where I can find the info online?
No particular expectations on my part, but I was mildly disappointed to see afterward (in your previous email) that PHDC members voted to support both Proposition A and Proposition L. Do you know whether there was any disagreement on either measure (how many votes for/against)?
