Sort of like the niche market for organic foods.

it is a niche but it's growing. Most of my friends prefer organic if they can get it, and I do too. It feels good to be eating good stuff. Yes people are sensitive to price but they are also sensitive to their health which is a valuable asset. (Anyone who's had medical care lately knows the monetized value of having a disease-free body!)

I suspect that organic agriculture will continue to become more prevalent in coming years as the costs of fossil fuel inputs to conventional fertilizer rises while organic techniques become more technically sophisticaed and cost-effective.

ps: about privatizing marriage -- I too never thought I'd see the day that the mainstream media would ever touch that one. So maybe we're being heard, somewhere...
